Goldfinger apart is Richard Maibaum and Paul Dehl's use of memorable scenes and character interactions to present key plot points and foreshadowing: Bond meeting Goldfinger and Odd Job for the first time (and learning of Odd Job's deadly bowler hat weapon); Bond learning the consequences of provoking Goldfinger (Jill Masterson covered in gold paint); Bond in his DB-5 meeting Tilly Masterson; Bond revealing to Goldfinger that he is aware of 'Operation Grandslam' (while facing the industrial laser); Bond killing Goldfinger. Classic Bond, but perfectly structured.
